Independently that the World Health Organization (WHO) has not a police
power to punish one of the members for negligence in cases like the
coronavirus that started in Wuhan, China in November of 2019, it is
evident the WHO didn't make enough pressure to avoid the spreading of
the Chinese epidemic to the rest of the planet.
China as contributor of this unit of the United Nations is located after the Top 10 financial contributors to WHO with only $86 millions in 2018-2019. From the other side, The United States was the first contributor with $893 millions in 2018-2019.
Despite the hard style of President Trump to express anger, the financial contribution of US compared to the financial contribution of China puts the United States in the position to requests more effective actions from the World Health Organization in a serious case of sickness that started exactly in Chinese territory. This is the point in the threat of Mr. Trump. who requests a change of attitude from WHO and an international investigation of the case.
