RETHINKING - July 31, 2021 - Panic about Delta Variant!

#WR: Is CDC responsible for its messages about Covid vaccines? An  Editorial of @WSJ  says "The CDC’s Delta Variant Panic .The agency spreads needless worry about vaccinations." The editorial remarks CDC generates alarms without a responsible attitude.

The Editorial of the Wall Street Journal observes "That should have been the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s straightforward message to Americans this week, along with a candid analysis of its evidence."

"What a fiasco. The CDC should be a source of fact and reason, not a hair-on-fire spreader of fear. The agency could start by explaining that Covid cases have been increasing across the U.S. and that more vaccinated individuals are testing positive. But most of these “breakthrough” cases are mild or asymptomatic."

Can we believe in the messages of CDC after the recent alarms? What is the truth about Covid and Delta Variant today?

RETHINKING: July 30, 2021 - The terrible end of a Big Devil

The Wall Street Journal posted an essay about bin Laden titled “The Last Days of Osama bin Laden” by Peter Bergen.

Two of the main paragraphs of this essay say:  “In the first weeks of 2011, Osama bin Laden was worried. For five years, he had concealed himself and his extended family—wives, children and grandchildren—in a compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, but now it appeared that his carefully constructed hideaway was coming apart. His longtime bodyguards were two brothers, members of al Qaeda whose family originated nearby. They did everything for bin Laden, from shopping in the local markets to hand delivering his lengthy memos to other leaders of al Qaeda.”

“But bin Laden’s bodyguards had become fed up with the risks that came with protecting and serving the world’s most wanted man.”

As we see in other cases of masters of terror, Osama bin Laden in his last days was realizing that the fidelity of his bodyguards will not be forever.

History shows that the devils of humanity cannot survive hidden for a long time. And in the end, they are in a very vulnerable situation till in one or another way have terrible deaths.

RETHINKING: July 28, 2021 - The Achilles’ heels of Apple and Tesla

Different sources are talking about the current chip shortage. This  shortage shows that our geniuses of the technology do not see in the distance.

Today, Wall Street Journal posted a opinion column titled “Apple and Tesla are the chip shortage’s latest victims”

WSJ says that Apple and Tesla "are set to begin feeling the impact of a significant disruption to the global supply of microprocessors, a sign that even some of the largest, best-supplied companies can no longer sidestep the semiconductor crisis."

We have to remark that chips are crucial for the new technology era. It is incredible that the planners of this world did not think early about the Achilles heel of the devices, machines, and cars: No semiconductors implies no brains, no intelligence.

The fact is that neither Apple nor Tesla can go ahead growing in their respective businesses without chips.

WORLDRETHINK: Twitter tour on July 27, 2021 - Mark Zuckerberg between Biden and Trump

#WR: Was Mark Zuckerberg the winner of Joe Biden and Donald Trump? Gerald Baker, former @WSJ editor in chief, posted an interesting column titled “The Revolution May Come for Mark Zuckerberg” suggesting that Facebook put Trump in power in 2016 and Joe Biden in 2020. Is this true?

The column of Gerald Baker concludes that the power of Mark Zuckerberg to manipulate elections can destroy Mark too. Meanwhile, the WSJ former editor affirms that the manipulation of Facebook "banished Mr. Trump" in 2020.

Myself, I think the current power of Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook surpass the power of Joe Biden. And this is risky, because if social media can lead political revolutions, our future will be very uncertain.

Your question is nonsense. Always the authorities know more that the normal people and the media... And in emergency situations that concern to the national security, they have the intelligence services to research. From the first moment of the pandemic , the authorities had more information and elements to act in in an effective way.

History shows the empires fall due to the mistakes their leaders commit when they are in the top of the hill. In the case of the United States the worst mistake was to move its factories to China with the believe the Chinese never could take our secrets about technology.
