MY COMMENT: In this new campaign for the White House, we have to differentiate the politicians who live according to Christian principles every day, from the candidates who only claim for the support of the Evangelical voters in their personal benefit. 1 Recommendation 04/26/2015 01:02:29 PM

On The Democrats Own Iran: (By Daniel Henninger)

MY COMMENT: We cannot separate the Iranian nuclear deal from the terrorist activities linked directly or indirectly to the ayatollahs regime of Iran.

The Americans who don’t see the threat, they never read History. They are naive. They are blind. They don't see the secret powers that are moving behind the Middle-East volcano. 5 Recommendations 04/26/2015 02:42:56 AM

MY COMMENT: Thank you Dan for your work in the development Google Maps! Surely, your name will be remembered as a tech hero.

Our message of sympathy to the family of Dan Fredinburg for his tragic death climbing Mount Everest! 3 Recommendations 04/26/2015 02:18:59 AM

MY COMMENT: Dramatic scenes! The earthquake that rocked Nepal shows us how fragile we are the human beings in front the fury of Nature.

The news says “powerful magnitude-7.8 earthquake rocks Nepal, death toll nears 1,400”. This is only a first approach. We have to see during the next day, real magnitude of the tragedy. 1 Recommendation 04/25/2015 07:31:25 PM

MY COMMENT: The Volkswagen’s war between the Chairman Ferdinand Piech and the CEO Martin Winkerkorn looks like is ending with the resignation of Mr. Piech.

Is this the start of a new era in Volkswagen? Ferdinand Piech was famous for his hard hand. Somebody defined him as a tyrant. Nobody knows is he is really leaving the main scene… 1 Recommendation 04/25/2015 02:28:34 PM

MY COMMENT: Our politicians talk a lot about the climate-change, but till now the streets of the cities are full of trash and in the public transportation and stations we find rest of food, cigarettes, cans of beverage. More: How many owners of dogs use the public areas as toilet of their animals?

The celebration of the Earth Day is not only for dramatic speeches, it is for real facts starting for a new “culture” of each inhabitant in their daily life. 1 Recommendations 04/24/2015 03:36:51 PM

MY COMMENT: We continue learning more about the “dark businesses” of Bill and Hillary Clinton, but probably we will never know about the most scandalous operations thanks the “famous” emails that were deleted in the server of the Clinton family.

The pending question is: How many hours of the Mrs. Clinton’s trips during the time she was U.S. Secretary of State were official activities of the government? It looks like Hillary used part of her trips for private businesses.

By the way, when Mrs. Clinton resigned as Secretary of State, a political analyst in a PBS-News panel said that Hillary was tireless traveler, but the results of her trips were not much. 2 Recommendations 04/24/2015 02:31:17 PM

MY COMMENT: The stakes in 2016 are high because the current paradigm of government is antique for the times that we are living now. After the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, we tried to update our model of country according to the new world reality, but we didn’t build a new ‘foundation”. All was only rhetoric.

We are losing international friends, while we are trying to make new friends in an environment of complete uncertainty. Meanwhile, our enemies or dangerous rivals are growing, in a lot of cases, thanks the benefit of be advanced students of our best technological masters. 1 Recommendation 04/23/2015 02:29:19 PM

MY COMMENT: Again we see that the war of drones is very risky because the remote human operators are very distant from the ground and the drones don’t ask if you are friend or enemy before they shoot… 3 Recommendations 04/23/2015 01:05:48 PM

MY COMMENT: You say that Facebook manipulates content from individual users and you expect that when the users realize this situation, they will begin to move away from the platform.

We have to observe that Facebook generates more than half its revenue overseas. For overseas users without digital culture, Facebook is like a “god of the communication”. The majority of these people don’t have the capability to see they are manipulated by the social media giant.

While the “legion” of fans of Facebook does not decline, the business of Mark Zuckerberg will continue generating revenues. 04/23/2015 09:24:46 AM

MY COMMENT: It looks like “Project Fi” is a test of Google to see what happens in the niche of wireless service.

Risk: Sometimes, the technology companies launch projects that after a period go to a dead-end.

If we are customers of Verizon or AT&T, before to change, we have to see how “Project Fi’ works in the ground. 1 Recommendation 04/22/2015 03:09:28 PM

MY COMMENT: In a country where the corruption has roots in all the levels of the society including the government, the real solutions for the victims never arrive in time and form. 1 Recommendation 04/22/2015 02:25:10 PM

MY COMMENT: The refugee surge is not only a problem for the small towns of Germany. The inhabitants of big cities and capitals of the Western European countries are seeing the decline of their security with their own eyes, day per day.

Europe is not prepared to receive thousands of immigrants in the current circumstances. Today is very easy to travel through the European Union from one country to another. The Europeans need border police controls to stop the entrance of the criminals before they are inside their own countries. 9 Recommendations 04/22/2015 02:00:02 PM

MY COMMENT: The drama of Mario Draghi, the president of the European Central Bank, is that the euro-zone is growing in geography: more countries, more people, however its economic engines don’t grow.

The new members of the euro-zone are small countries without a strong industry and energy-dependence.

From the other side, Greece doesn’t solve its problems, but it remains in the community.

The future looks worse than the present due to the number of refugees that are coming to countries like Germany, France and Italy. 04/21/2015 02:14:21 PM

MY COMMENT: In my opinion, IBM is “an inflection point” that forces to reinvent the company.

It is not about product lines or “clouds”, “big data” or “analytics”… It is about the ROLE of this technology company in the new era with “cloud computing”, “big data”, “analytics”, Internet of Things”, cyber-security or something else.

The problem is more complex than the selection of a series of products or services to market from now and another series of products and services that IBM will stop to market.

We have to hope that CEO Ginni Rometty makes the job. If not, the IBM board of directors board has to find a new visionary like Lou Gerstner was in 1993. 2 Recommendations 04/21/2015 10:37:35 AM

MY COMMENT: Everyone knows that the Ayatollah is playing poker and he wants all our cards. 2 Recommendations 04/20/2015 03:25:44 PM

MY COMMENT: Italians have right to complain for the influx of refugees from Africa because this spiraling migration crisis started after the first Arab Spring movements removed the Libyan regime and others.

The questions are: Who promoted the Arab Spring? Who supported with military actions the fall of the Libyan regime? Who supported the Morsi’s chaotic government?

We know the answers of these questions, but today nobody wants to assume the consequences of bad political strategies and wrong military actions. Meanwhile, Africa is really a big volcano and in short time the Mediterranean will become a huge mass grave. 2 Recommendations 04/20/2015 02:47:58 PM

MY COMMENT: The ISIS militants are more barbarians than the pagan monarchs who martyred the first Christians. 11 Recommendations 04/19/2015 03:03:53 PM

MY COMMENT: The human beings without future go to the death in crowd. Again the painful news comes from the coasts of Africa, near the Libyan Inferno. 6 Recommendations 04/19/2015 02:14:30 PM

MY COMMENT: 50 years ago, the “Moore’s Law” was the first step for the development of a new niche of the technology industry: semiconductors.

In its turn, the semiconductor industry gave step to other specific segments of the technology: microprocessors for computers, graphic microprocessors, semiconductors for memories.

And the microprocessor makers for computers pushed the foundation of the personal computer industry: hardware, software, peripherals and supplies.

In summary, the contribution of Gordon E. Moore was huge. After the formulation of the Gordon's Law, millions of people with technical vocation have discovered a New World: the digital world. 04/18/2015 08:04:35 PM

MY COMMENT: The analysts comment that the Greek debt and the weak quarterly earnings produced negative reactions of the Wall Street investors on Friday April 17.

The 1.5% decline of Dow Jones Industrial Average to 17826.30 is not a Greek tragedy.

We know that when Dow Jones goes down, after that it climbs again. 04/18/2015 07:20:23 PM

MY COMMENT: ECB President Mario Draghi does not want to push Greece out of the euro-zone. However, the negative Greek attitude will continue damage Europe04/18/2015 07:09:29 PM

MY COMMENT: The resignation of Mrs. Clinton from the Clinton Foundation’s board is only a domestic formal aspect of the case.

For the governments of Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and the United Kingdom, Clinton is Clinton. If Hillary wins the election, all these countries will expect to be the “VIP” members of the foreign relations club. 5 Recommendations 04/17/2015 02:40:14 PM

MY COMMENT: The "Moore's Law" will always remain as an important milestone of the History of the Technology, despite the new advances of the digitization of the world. 3 Recommendations 04/17/2015 02:03:58 PM

MY COMMENT: The victory of Marco Rubio against the former Florida Governor Charlie Crist in 2010 was the first test of the political talent of the current Senator Rubio.

In that moment, Mr. Crist was a "hero" of the classic political environment like Hillary is today.

MY COMMENT ANSWERING TO ANOTHER MEMBER WHO SAYS MARCO RUBIO HAS NOT ENOUGH GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE:

It is possible that Marco Rubio needs more experience to be the No.1 of a presidential formula. We have to observe him through the Republican presidential campaign.

However, Rubio is a politician that will continue growing because he has a special talent for the politics.

I remember when he announced his decision to fight for the position of the Florida Senator in direct confrontation with Mr. Crist. In that moment, Crist had all the apparatus of the Florida government in his hands, but he lost.

Rubio grew from the underground thanks his own talent. He is not a sophisticated politician and he has the capacity to defeat “Goliaths” of the politics.

By the way, in the late 1990s, Rubio served as a City Commissioner for West Miami, city of working people in the Miami Metro.

In 2000, he was elected to the Florida House of Representatives and he became Speaker of the Florida House in 2006.

In 2009, he announced that he will run for U.S. Senate and he won the Republican nomination against the Republican Governor of Florida Charlie Crist. Upset for this situation, Crist ran with no party affiliation and Rubio as Republican defeated him again. In summary, Rubio defeated the former Florida Governor Charlie Crist two times. 2 Recommendations 04/17/2015 02:20:42 PM

MY COMMENT: The Republicans need free-hypocrisy candidates: politicians who show “passion, sincerity and authenticity”. 1 Recommendation 04/16/2015 02:57:01 PM

MY COMMENT: The “Battle of Washington” looks like the fight of the “American natives” against an international coalition of foreign powers that want to put their flags around the American flag in the White House on 2016. We are returning to the times before the Independence War. 6 Recommendations 04/16/2015 02:41:27 PM

MY COMMENT: From my point of view, it is not right to mix a presidential campaign with the donations from foreign governments.

By the way, during the last two weeks, the German newspapers only talk about Hillary Clinton and her presidential campaign. Today one of the headlines of prestigious Die Zeit of Hamburg was about Hillary. Nobody talks about the other candidates. 3 Recommendations 04/16/2015 02:25:05 PM

MY COMMENT: The Iranians don't like politicians with own mind and people who know about the history of the Iranian revolution.

Till now the United States is a federal republic with 3 independent powers and with politicians who don't say: Amen, Amen, Amen to the decisions of the White House. This is a great value of our political culture. 2 Recommendations 04/15/2015 02:44:46 PM

MY COMMENT: We have to see if Nokia has the patience and intelligence to solve the problems of Alcatel-Lucent. 04/15/2015 02:41:31 PM

MY COMMENT: The EU regulators always are against American technology companies that introduce innovative software, hardware and tech tools.

The history of European complaints against American companies started long time ago against IBM, after that Microsoft, now Google and others.  1 Recommendation 04/15/2015 12:02:45 PM

MY COMMENT: Where are the defenders of women who can sleep quiet while more than 200 Nigerian girls remain in the hands of criminals and sexual traffickers? 1 Recommendation 04/14/2015 03:14:03 PM

MY COMMENT: We have to hope the Senators act with open mind and without the pressure of the White House. 1 Recommendation 04/14/2015 12:40:30 PM

MY COMMENT: The acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent will be the end of the French-American company; and probably new problems for Nokia.

As everybody who analyzes the technology industry knows, Alcatel-Lucent is a sick company since the marriage of the French Alcatel and the American Lucent.

If Nokia cannot merge Alcatel-Lucent in a right way, in two or three years the last valuable parts of the French-American company will come to the Chinese Huawei hands as a bargain. 2 Recommendations 04/14/2015 11:04:58 AM

On The Hillary Machine:  PART 1

MY COMMENT: In 2008, Hillary also had a strong machine, but she fell like Goliath due to the stone of a David. 5 Recommendations 04/13/2015 02:21:37 PM

MY COMMENT: The Democrats will commit a big mistake if they put all their “eggs” in the basket of Hillary because the money of her donors and her “machine’ do not guarantee that she will win in front of a Republican candidate. 5 Recommendations 04/13/2015 02:33:28 PM

MY COMMENT: Marco Rubio is the opposite extreme of Hillary Clinton.

Also he has experience, defeating incumbent candidates. He defeated former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist in a historic election for the US Senate.

These were the results of the Florida U.S. Senate Election 2010 when Rubio defeated Crist:

1) Marco Rubio: 2,645,743 votes (48.9%)
2) Charlie Crist: 1,607,549 votes (29.7%)
3) Kendrick Meek: 1,092,936 votes (20.2%)
4) Alexander Snitker: 24,859 votes (0.5%)

MY COMMENT: Pope Francis is not the first leader of the world who says that the Armenian slaughter was genocide.

However, his attitude is brave in a moment that the Turks are growing as a powerful country of the Middle East and the Muslims are in continuous confrontation with Christians and Catholics across the world. 7 Recommendations 04/12/2015 10:01:53 AM

MY COMMENT ANSWERING TO ANOTHER MEMBER WHO SAYS THAT THE POPE STATEMENT IS NOT GOOD MARKETING:

First, Pope Francis is not a marketing guy.

Second: Frequently, the truth is painful and generates frictions. 8 Recommendations 04/12/2015 10:23:17 AM

MY COMMENT: The encounter between Barack Obama and Raul Castro is historic and controversial.

The shake of hands of the American and Cuban President has different meanings depending of the perspective of the observer.

We have to wait for the next steps… 1 Recommendation 04/11/2015 02:34:09 PM

By the way, the foreign donors who support her are powerful people of different ideologies. 4 Recommendations 04/10/2015 03:20:29 PM

MY COMMENT: It is good that some Senators, members of the Democratic Party, have their own mind in crucial issues like the Iranian nuclear deal. 2 Recommendations 04/10/2015 03:07:39 PM

MY COMMENT: The best is the Obama administration observes in silence the next steps of the Iranian Supreme Leader before new comments or opinions.

The Iranians want to play with us like with puppets of the kindergarten. 4 Recommendations 04/10/2015 02:54:04 PM

MY COMMENT: I am not God to make justice with my own hands. But as a human being with sensitivity for the people who died or remain with disabilities due the bombing attack. My position is: Death Penalty. 5 Recommendations 04/09/2015 02:56:15 PM

MY COMMENT: Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is playing his game because he knows that the West is in a very tolerant (or weak) position.

The current attitude of the Iran’s Supreme Leader puts more uncertainty on the negotiation table. 04/09/2015 02:22:16 PM

MY COMMENT: Iraq is divided in parts and nobody wants to work in a peaceful and balanced way with the others to fix the cracks. 1 Recommendation 04/09/2015 12:53:55 PM

MY COMMENT: Till now it is early to know if the drones will change the normal behavior of the sheep for good or bad. Maybe, they will become sheep-androids. 04/08/2015 03:13:34 PM

MY COMMENT: Apple always creates digital devices that finally make sense. 2 Recommendations 04/08/2015 03:01:38 PM

MY COMMENT: The Greeks are looking for free money from the heaven because they are lazy to earn it for themselves. 7 Recommendations 04/07/2015 03:09:51 PM

MY COMMENT ANSWERING TO ANOTHER MEMBER OF THE JOURNAL WHO SAYS THAT IT IS GOOD THE GREEKS CLAIM FOR WAR COMPENSATION:

The idea of the war compensation for a war of more 50 years ago is an excuse to take free money while they continue living immerse in a corrupt system. 1 Recommendation 04/08/2015 01:47:59 PM

MY COMMENT: First, technology has not flags in the globalization era.

Second, people like the Koreans are good students of technology who graduate fast in quality products and very aggressive businessmen who sell to everybody. The competition with these people is very difficult. 04/06/2015 03:21:02 PM

MY COMMENT: This story about a new Brazilian case of corruption titled “How Brazil’s ‘Nine Horsemen’ Cracked a Bribery Scandal” ends with the following paragraph: “I think Brazil will be a different country after the conclusion of this process,” said Antonio Augusto de Queiroz, head of DIAP, a congressional watchdog agency. “If [high-paid] people are going to jail, having their assets confiscated, whoever considers doing the same will have to think about the cost/benefit ratio.”

My fears are that the Petrobras’ case can go through similar paths that the Iranian case of Argentina where the main prosecutor of the investigation – Alberto Nisman - was killed in a very dirty and confuse episode. 4 Recommendation 04/06/2015 02:15:58 PM

MY COMMENT: Everybody stands in line waiting that the doors of Iran will open for the western companies.
Business is before any ideology. The western companies know that Iran can be a huge new market for diverse products and technologies. They are anxious to run inside the country with all their offers and business forms to fill immediately when the green light gives the signal.

Meanwhile, despite the current restrictions, the Iranians are buying technology from the Chinese like Huawei. 1 Recommendations 04/06/2015 01:54:49 PM

If his drones cannot fly through the American sky, it is reasonable that they will start the Bezos’ experiment in Canada. 3 Recommendations 04/06/2015 01:32:58 PM

MY COMMENT: The victory of Muhammadu Buhari in the Nigerian elections is not an event for singing glories.

It is a hard challenge for fixing the economy and giving peace and justice to all the communities and towns beaten by the Islamic terrorism. 3 Recommendations 04/05/2015 06:42:51 PM

MY COMMENT: The nuclear “framework” is an Iranian triumph and a defeat for the victims of all the terrorism forms led by Iran. 2 Recommendations 04/05/2015 06:24:52 PM

MY COMMENT: The Japanese technology producers – Sharp, Sony… - continue losing ground in front of South Korean and Chinese competitors due to old business criteria and low flexibility for the changes the market is pushing. 04/05/2015 02:48:59 PM

MY COMMENT: Till now, there are people who don’t like Ted Cruz. In some cases, they have fears about his ideas and behavior.

However, the people who like Ted Cruz, they love him because the Texan Senator represents a very different kind of politics from the classic politicians. 1 Recommendation 04/05/2015 12:46:55 PM
