Opinion | Abolish the FBI

The problem is not the FBI as a institution.  The problem are the corrupt people that manipulate the institution.

Opinion | What Milley Got Right—and Wrong

I don't believe Peggy Noonan has background about national security and defense issues. For this reason,  she has to avoid to discuss the Gen. Miller actions in her opinion column.

Opinion | Cubans Want Freedom, Not Exile

The difference is that the current native Cubans are Communist Cubans for life philosophy and they cannot integrate in other countries where the life is not under the communist model.  In the United States, everybody has to work hard. In the Communist Cuba, the situation is different.

America has till now a lot of  good people and great values despite of the recent mistakes and the bad behavior of some politicians and other leaders. Also, here we can disagree in public, something that is not possible in China, Russia, Iran, North Korea...

Opinion | An Afghan Family’s Attempt to Get to Safety

A lot of Afghans didn't pay attention to the advance of the Taliban before they entered Kabul. They were thinking that the government could keep the Taliban out. They were wrong. They knew government troops and the president were cowardly and corrupt. Now, it is late to reverse the facts. The rescue finished.

Opinion | Who Abandoned Bagram Air Base?

Nothing is totally safe in Afghanistan, but a military airport at 40 miles from the Kabul can be better defended than an airport in the middle of the population.

Opinion | Who Abandoned Bagram Air Base?

I try to avoid comments like I made before, because I don't like to make Judgments of events when I don't have all the elements to analyze the " incident" like we do in the security industry. But I feel very frustrated for the 13 American soldiers who died in the Kabul Airport.  From my experience, I agree with the WSJ Editorial Board that it is impossible to make SAFE RESCUE operations in an airport surrounded by enemies.

Opinion | Who Abandoned Bagram Air Base?

Your tone is very arrogant attacking me with only a question. I will answer: 1) I am not a military expert. 2) However, for professional and personal links I have experience about countries infected of terrorism. I survived a bomb attack. I travelled across Arab countries . And my family suffered directly the terrorism of the Baghdad streets after the Iraq war started, I have for myself and my family hard experience about the violence and the behavior of the "bad guys" in countries fighting in the terror war. 3) In addition, I am linked with the security sector since more than 30 years. With all these elements I said that the President is not acting like a Commander in Chief. I don't discuss if he is a good or non-good president. But he never suffered the terror in his own skin and nobody in his family is one of the 13 American soldiers killed in the Kabul Airport.    Please, put you in the place of the family of the 13 dead soldiers!!!
