BLOG COMMENTS: Trump Explosive Start

Dear Friends:

From his first day in office, Donald Trump signed a series of executive orders that are generating explosive reactions.

About this first week of the new administration, David Brooks, prestigious columnist of The New York Times said: “We were here a week ago together, and it feels like a century.”

And from the other side, Mark Shields, another political analyst for PBS added: “The troubles that he’s inflicted this week and counting were totally unforced errors upon himself. So, this really is a time. Americans want the country to do well. They want the president to do well.”

Next, you can read my comments posted in the blog of Wall Street Journal and the reactions of the members of the Journal Comments. (Some of these comments were also posted as tweets related to the WSJ pages in Twitter.)

(During the last days, a new political movement jumped to the public asking for the secession of California from U.S. This initiative is not new. However, now the enemies of Donald Trump are looking for the independence of California from the U.S. Some years ago, a Russian political analyst warned the possible division of the United States of America in a series of smaller independent nations. In that moment, I posted my observation about this possible “rupture” of the U.S.)

The backers of California seceding from the U.S. are crazy. They will lose the incomes of companies like Intel and other technology giants with plants and labs in other states like Arizona, Oregon and Idaho.

BLOG COMMENTS - New History Chapter

Dear Friends:

On January 20, the Inauguration Day, Donald Trump assumed the presidency of the United States, starting a new chapter of our History.

In that moment, the Obama’s cycle of eight years ended with a dose of uncertainty and big changes in Washington.

During the last few days, a lot of readers of Wall Street Journal posted comments and diverse observations related to the change of government. And Twitter is full of good and bad opinions about the new government.

Important: Some of the next WSJ comments were rewritten according to the summary of news.

Posted In Obama Did Not Save the Economy (By Holman W. Jenkins, Jr.)
You say that Obama didn't save the economy. I say that Obama did not save the country. This is worse.

Former President Obama lost his 8 years of government promoting great ideals of freedom and pushing fake economic formulas without to have clue how to build a modern and strong country of the free world.

Obama presidency was a fantasy, a fairy tale with catastrophic results.

Today, January 22, Obama is past. He is part of a chapter of History titled: "Frustrated America".

BLOG COMMENTS - The first 13 days of 2017...

Dear Friends:

2017 doesn’t look like a normal year for the Americans and the world. The first weeks of January were very intensive and the stress continues.

First at all, the transition of federal government from Barack Obama to Donald Trump is walking through a complicated process.

In the background, the Russian hackers, President Putin declarations, the Chinese military challenges and some scenes of massive killing complete a gloomy panorama.

Important: Some of the next WSJ comments were rewritten according to the summary of news.
