During the last few days, the media was talking about the meeting of Russian and Ukrainian negotiators in Istanbul, Turkey for a cease fire.
After all the recent actions of President Putin, I don’t believe the Russian leader wants to stop the war, accepting the bad results of the campaign of his troops. For him, at this moment, the withdrawal of the Russian soldiers from the Ukrainian territory is a very bad defeat.
My opinion posted in the WSJ Online sector for bloggers was:
“I don't trust Russian negotiators. From my view, Mr. Putin is trying to gain time to prepare a mortal attack against Ukraine.”
The members of the WSJ Community agreed with my opinion.
