The Wall Street Journal posted an opinion column titled "GOP Has a Chance at More Than Election Victory" by Gerard Baker, former WSJ editor.
After a series of columns criticizing President Biden and with some good opinions about Trump's presidency, in his last column, Mr. Baker wrote the GOP needs a presidential candidate who: "could break America’s political stalemate by looking forward not back to Trump or Reagan."
From my point of view, both parties - Republicans and Democrats - have to change the totally negative attitude to the opposition and look for common points with the members of the same party.
This was my blog-comment in the bottom of Gerard Baker's column: "Republicans need a candidate that unites all the Republicans and gains independent voters."
