WSJ BLOG COMMENT - NOVEMBER 26, 2021 - AFGHAN TEACHERS OF GIRLS

WSJ posted an interesting story about the current education of young girls in Afghanistan since the Taliban took power. The story was written by Margherita Stancati.

“Afghan Teachers Defy Taliban by Secretly Schooling Teenage Girls”

The story says that after three months of Taliban returning to the government, the women don’t have access to the normal education in the schools of Afghanistan. Due to this bad situation, some Afghan teachers are educating the girls in secret.

This was my blog comment in the bottom of the story:

Everybody asks the question: Why this terrible drama about women in Afghanistan? The answer is in the mentality and attitude of the Taliban. They are barbarians and they continue thinking that the women are like "animals" for the men's placer.
