The animosity between Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump grew in the last few days after the GOP Senator commended Mr. Trump’s actions leading up to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
Now, former President Trump is trying to destroy the political career of the GOP Senator who was near to him during his presidency.
