MY COMMENT: After a new deadline, the Iran’s nuclear negotiation continues without an agreement.

The western negotiators are losing their time. The attitude of the Iranians is very irresponsible. 1 Recommendation 07/07/2015 02:53:28 PM

MY COMMENT: The news says the Afghan Government is discussing a formal peace agreement with the Taliban.

From the other side, during the last few weeks, we learned about a new bombing attack that shook the Parliament in Kabul.

What kind of peace they can sign in these circumstances? 1 Recommendation 07/07/2015 02:43:41 PM

MY COMMENT: After the referendum, if the Eurozone officials don’t act in a tough way, Alexis Tsipras will continue its play because now he has in his hands the “No” of the Greeks. 1 Recommendation 07/07/2015 02:36:24 PM

MY COMMENT: The “NO” (OXI) is a Pyrrhic victory. Like all the Pyrrhic victories, it will be very costly for Greece.

In the end, Alexis Tsipras will not be a Greek hero. He will be like the old Greek anti-heroes. 6 Recommendations 07/06/2015 03:30:56 PM

MY COMMENT: It is good that Pope Francis cares for the poor, but as leader of the Catholic Church, his comments against multinational companies are not appropriate.

It will be better if the Pope tries to persuade the owners of the capital to create more opportunities for the poor countries and communities. Without capital and investors, the economies don’t grow. Without economic growth, it is not possible to generate better social conditions for the workers and their families.

A confrontation between the Church and the Capital is a wrong way to change the world in the right direction.

From the other side, the leaders of Ecuador and Bolivia are not model of good leaderships. They use the poor in their own political benefit but they don’t push a social revolution that improves the social-economic conditions of the population. Both countries have important oil and mineral resources. But with a mask of “populists”, President Rafael Correa and Evo Morales are manipulating their people as puppets of the personal interests. 7 Recommendations   07/06/2015 03:12:32 PM

MY COMMENT: As the article says, Alcoa kicks off the second-quarter earnings season.
Days later we will know the revenues and profits of a series of very important technology companies like IBM, Intel, Google, Apple and Microsoft.

In the previous quarter, several of these technology companies didn’t show good figures. We have to see their results of the new quarter. 07/06/2015 02:35:34 PM

MY COMMENT: The United States and the western negotiators are losing their time dealing with Iran. This was clear from the first delay of the negotiations.

The Iranians want all from the others, but they continue like in the first day playing and playing…And they are very intransigent. 2 Recommendations 07/05/2015 02:37:41 PM

MY COMMENT: Probably, Sen. Bernie Sanders wants to become the Robin Hood of the America of the New Millennium. 7 Recommendations 07/05/2015 02:27:58 PM

MY COMMENT: “NO” is bad news for the Europeans who believed that Greece wanted to be part of Europe and they helped it during all this long process…

Really, the Greeks are losing the last opportunity to fix their problems in a reasonable way. 5 Recommendations 07/05/2015 02:20:06 PM

MY COMMENT: The Puerto Rican people like to sleep on the “mattresses” of money they receive from the United States. 3 Recommendations 07/04/2015 03:03:57 PM

MY COMMENT: France will not solve the Greece’s problems, if the Greeks don’t make their own effort to go away the financial crisis. 07/04/2015 02:57:18 PM

MY COMMENT: The case of the same-sex marriage was a clear demonstration that the Supreme Court is divided like Congress between two blocks: conservatives and liberals, and its decisions have a big influence of the White House.

In fact, there is not independence of powers like the Constitution demands. 2 Recommendations 07/03/2015 02:56:20 PM

MY COMMENT: The current situation of European Union is the result of two big “sins”:

1) Greece lied about its financial sickness to be admitted in the euro-zone. The financial and economic problems of the Greeks come from long time ago before the country entered to the euro-zone.

2) The authorities of the EU were negligent to block the entrance of Greece into the market. They closed their eyes and they accepted a sick economy inside the community.
Now, we see the consequences.

In addition, Alexis Tsipras and his partners have complicated the situation during the last few months with their suicide attitude. 2 Recommendations 07/03/2015 08:17:22 AM

MY COMMENT: This story about the US Labor Report of June says “Hiring gains and unemployment falls, but pockets of softness lurk.”

We cannot expect an economic miracle in the current times with serious financial problems in Europe, cheap manpower across a lot of Asian countries and a series of mergers of big American and international companies that hit the domestic market of the U.S.

If the situation continues like now, the American salaries will fall more and we will have to work for lower wages of the new robots that are entering to the labor work in different segments of the industry. 1 Recommendation 07/02/2015 03:11:06 PM

MY COMMENT: This story remarks a very good point when it says that the current Greek “government has run out of credit and credibility at the same time.”

If German Chancellor Angela Merkel has not more patience due to “Mr. Tsipras’s antics”, the best is the Greek Prime Minister resigns. Without the support of Ms. Merkel, he cannot rebuild the credibility of the country. 3 Recommendations 07/02/2015 02:48:29 PM

MY COMMENT: In communication to the employees, the Intel CEO, Brian Krzanich, announced a series of leadership and organizational changes including the departure of the Intel President Renée James.

We have to hope these changes don’t produce an earthquake that shakes the organization of the semiconductor manufacturer in a bad way.

Intel is a company with strong roots in the Silicon Valley and very professional management, but it has lived bad times since the PC sales declined. 1 Recommendation 07/02/2015 02:14:53 PM

MY COMMENT: The terrorists want to spread chaos across Egypt. We have to see if President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi can control the situation.

Days ago, somebody criticized General Al Sisi for his tough attitude against terrorism activities. With the ISIS militants and their associates, it is not possible to be soft.

However, we have to hope the government can suffocate the terrorist activities without make mistakes that mobilize the civil population against the authorities. Egypt is a key country in the Middle East. 1 Recommendation 07/01/2015 02:37:50 PM

MY COMMENT: As Raul Castro said some months ago, Cuba will not modify its domestic politics to satisfy the request of other country.  1Recommendation 07/01/2015 02:08:40 PM

MY COMMENT: Chinese Xiaomi is giving its first step to become a world digital phone leader.

Brazil can help the young technology company to test how its products work in a huge country different from China or India.

In addition, Brazil is an important door to enter in other Latin American countries like Argentina, Uruguay, Peru and Colombia. Of course, in some of these countries, there are special regulations for the importation of technological products. 1 Recommendation 06/30/2015 03:27:03 PM
