MY COMMENT: The Yahoo’s financial results of its 2015 second
quarter don’t show elements to determine trends.
Its revenues were $1.24
billion, +15% y/y: Good!
But it posted net loss of
$21.6 million: Bad!
In summary, till now the
company is the middle of changes and adjustments. 1 Recommendation 07/22/2015 03:03:17 PM
MY COMMENT: You say: “Iran Inspections in 24 days?” Now,
it is late to talk of inspections. A lot of people including officials of
different countries are traveling to Tehran for businesses.
Here, we have a
sample: At less of a week of the signature of the nuclear agreement, Sigmar
Gabriel, German minister of energy flew to Iran with a portfolio of 72 projects that implies
2.7 billion euros. The news was published in Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung on
July 21.1 Recommendation 07/22/2015 01:59:52 PM
MY COMMENT: We have to recognize the Donald Trump is very
smart. He always acts with a lot of aggressiveness in businesses and he likes
to make circus.
But the presidential
institution deserves more respect for the politicians and non-politicians who
want to lead the country. 1 Recommendation 07/22/2015 01:44:35 PM
MY COMMENT: Wall Street hit Apple for a difference
between expectations and real sales of iPhone. But if we compare the numbers of
Apple, Microsoft, IBM and Intel, the conclusion is that Apple posted a good
earnings report.
In general, the
current earning season looks gloomy for the technology sector. 1 Recommendation

MY COMMENT: The three German luxury car brands – Audi,
BMW, Daimler - have money to be non-depending of the Google Maps.
The price of $2.71
billion for Nokia Oy –digital mapping service - is not a high price for a
common purchase of 3 buyers.
From the other side,
they will have the possibility to gain experience in new technologies needed
for the next generation of cars. 2

MY COMMENT: It is very regrettable to learn about the
accounting scandal of the Toshiba.
Toshiba always was
in the top list of the Japanese companies with a series of important computing
products and also with technology for the different industrial and
infrastructure sectors.
Till now is not
clear if the accounting scandal will impact in a negative way the engineering
and production sectors. 1 Recommendation 07/21/2015 01:25:09 PM
MY COMMENT: 16 candidates for the Republican nomination
of the 2016 presidential election show a “fever” to be the new American
president.
And in this list, in
addition to Ohio Governor John Kasich, we see a series of important governors
and former governors of key states.
Only one can be
elected to represent the Republican Party. We have to hope the others after
that collaborate with the nominated in the best way.
2016 election has to
be the start of a new good cycle in Washington. During the last years, we suffered a lot of
deceptions. 7 Recommendations 07/21/2015 12:59:59 PM
MY COMMENT: These are the main numbers of the IBM
financial report posted yesterday on July 20:
- Q215 earnings:
Revenues: $20.8 billion -13.5% y/y. Net Income: $3.34 -16.6% y/y.
Some days ago, Google
posted also the results of its 2015 second quarter. Here, the Google’s figures:
- Q215 earnings:
Revenues: $17.7 billion, +11% y/y. GAAP operating income: $4.8 billion, +27%.
Three or four years
ago, we could not image that one day Google can surpass IBM. But if the Big
Blue doesn’t find the way to recreate its business model soon, it will be under
Google.
During the last
years, IBM sold the majority of its classic units: PCs, Intel servers, hard
disk drives, printers and printing solutions, semiconductors… And now with its
new units, it doesn’t find the way to climb again. 1 Recommendation 07/21/2015 11:49:59 AM
MY COMMENT: Probably, with this initiative, Hillary
Clinton tries to shorten ideological distance with her rival, Sanders, the
enemy of the billionaires. .
From my point of
view, the punishment of the short-term investors can produce negative reactions
from the sector.
Always, when the
investors see “hurdles” in one market, they look for other markets and/or
alternatives. For example, when French President Hollande came to government,
he tried to punish the rich French citizens and companies with high taxes, and
a lot of them changed citizenship and/or legal addresses. 2 Recommendations 07/20/2015 2:22:35 PM
MY COMMENT: This is a political movement of the White
House without the Congress support.
Till Congress votes,
the fully lift of trade and travel embargoes are only in “draft”. And today Congress
is not in the same line of President Obama. 2 Recommendations 07/20/2015 02:02:41 PM
MY COMMENT: This is a good idea, but in the case of Chattanooga is late.
In times of
terrorism, all the military and government institutions have to be protected
with security. 2 Recommendations 07/20/2015 01:51:57 PM
MY COMMENT: From my perspective, the problem is the
“Islamist organizations” used as “branches” of terrorist groups.
Probably, these
groups distribute Quran books together with pamphlets instigating to a “sacred
war” against Christians and also brochures with terror doctrines and terrorist
tactics.
The intelligent
services have to look for terrorist literature in the place where Mr.
Abdulazeez was living.
By the way, during
the times of the Latin
America guerrilla
promoted by Cuba, a lot of materials with terror doctrine were circulating across the
continent. 1 Recommendation 07/19/2015 03:04:47 PM
MY COMMENT: In a presidential campaign with the
candidates that we have now, the effort will be huge and the money needed to
support the race will climb in levels that we never saw before.
The current list of
candidates includes a series of politicians with previous experiences as
governors and in other government positions and very aggressive members of
Congress.
From the other side,
the people are tired for the current problems of Washington and everybody wants profound changes after
2016. 07/19/2015 02:39:39 PM
MY COMMENT: Hillary points against the Republicans to
avoid reactions from Sanders.
But in future
meetings, Sanders will go against Hillary because this is the only way that he
has to put down the image of the candidate with more resources. If the current
followers of Sanders see that he plays low, they will leave him. 2

MY COMMENT: Without any doubt, the shooting of Mohammod
Youssuf Abdulazeez is a serious warning of the spread of the terror war
everywhere including the United States.
We have to be alert
across all the country every day, every night, in each moment. 1 Recommendation

MY COMMENT: The Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali
Khamenei tries to put down the United States in a way that is really a provocation.
In the end, the
nuclear agreement was an act of weakness in front an enemy who vomits hate
every time he speaks. 5 Recommendations 07/18/2015 04:44:36 PM
MY COMMENT: This is the effort of Angela Merkel to avoid
the total Greece collapse, but a lot of Greeks don’t deserve the German support
because during more than 10 years they did make nothing to improve their
economy and finance. 07/17/2015 03:11:57 PM
MY COMMENT: It is not surprise that ObamaCare’s prices
will keep surging. Everybody who knows a little about economy can see that
normally the centralized systems reduce flexibility and blow up the figures for
everybody.
For example, the
users who care for their health and go to the doctor only for real health
problems, they have to pay also for the others who everyday go to the doctor
for thousands of minor problems. 1 Recommendation 07/17/2015 02:48:19 PM
MY COMMENT: It is evident that behind the double shooting
there are other things.
Muhammad Abdulazeez
was not a teenager who stole the guns of the father and went to the street to
kill his teacher or somebody who hit him.
He planned the two
shootings to military targets for special reasons: hate or the order that he
received from other/s.
If he was crazy, his
craziness was not a psychological problem of somebody who has social problems.
Behind the craziness, we have to see evil and hate. 3 Recommendations 07/17/2015 02:27:40 PM
MY COMMENT: The information available is not enough to
determine the reasons of the Chattanooga shootings.
The facts show that
it is possible that the suspect Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez had something
against members of the military forces. The question is “why”. The news doesn’t
say if he had a previous incident with marines. Also we don’t know if he was
linked with some special Muslim groups.
The way he acted
shooting in two military facilities in the same day reflects a plan. They were
not two causal shootings. 1 Recommendation 07/17/2015 10:14:50 AM
MY COMMENT: In the case of El Chapo, all is possible.
Maybe the story the authorities of the jail are telling is not true and he
escaped with the support of the guards in an easy way. (By the way, this is the
second time that the Mexican drug lord escapes of a prison.) 07/16/2015 03:09:15 PM
MY COMMENT: As we said before, Sanders is a Robin Hood of
the New Millennium. If all the poor people follow him, he will shake Washington. This doesn’t imply that he will be the new
president. Till now, it is early to make forecasts. 1 Recommendation 07/16/2015 02:51:11 PM
MY COMMENT: Since Jeb Bush entered in the race, it looks
like the final competition will be between Hillary and Jeb. However, it is
early to make forecasts. 1 Recommendation 07/16/2015 02:07:38 PM
MY COMMENT: The European Central Bank is trying to help
the Greece’s lenders reopen, while in the Athens streets the Greeks continue complaining and
making riots. This is too much! 1 Recommendation 07/16/2015 01:24:55 PM
MY COMMENT: After a short journey across the newspapers
of the world, the statement that “99% of the world community” agrees with the Iran nuclear deal looks not realistic. 8
