informed that General Electric pushed its CEO out in a little more
than a year because his changes weren't enough for its shareholders.

both American giants of other times had serious problems. IBM suffered
the deep change of the technology market and GE for the difficulties to
run a huge conglomerate in times of financial/economic crisis.

#WR: Differences between GE and IBM (Part IV) We have to remember like @Barron’s
remarks that IBM CEO Ginni Rometty is in charge of tech company since
2012. John Flannery, a GE veteran of 30-plus years, assumed the control
of the industrial company in Aug 2017 and now is out.
