MY COMMENT: When there are big disasters and catastrophes, people and organizations from different part of the world try to make businesses using the suffering of the victims in their benefit.

For this reason, the authorities of the place (in this case, Nepal) have the right to organize the entry of aid supplies, and the technical and humanitarian assistance.

The United Nations have special organizations that can assist the Nepalese authorities in a responsible way. 1 Recommendation 05/03/2015 02:16:34 PM

MY COMMENT: The protests will continue because the air is full of fury and the activists are making a good business. 4 Recommendations 05/03/2015 05:06:10 AM

MY COMMENT ANSWERING TO ANOTHER MEMBER OF THE JOURNAL COMMUNITY:
The problem is not only Baltimore... Did you forget Ferguson and New York

This is a national problem... We are returning to the past because there are a lot of social problems and the politicians are busy in the campaigns but they don't put enough effort to learn about the problems of the people and how to modify the aggressive attitude of some groups of policemen in poor areas with racial discrimination. 2 Recommendations 05/03/2015 09:22:01 AM

MY COMMENT: The British Royal Family is growing like in the fairy tales.  1 Recommendation 05/02/2015 07:33:03 PM

MY COMMENT: Every year, Warren Buffett leads the annual conference of the Berkshire shareholders with a lot of action and activities around him.

We can rename the current story as "The 2015 business show of Warren Buffett.” For a billionaire, this is a good entertainment. 1 Recommendation 05/02/2015 07:28:52 PM

MY COMMENT: We are living in times when the reality of every day and the drama of the streets are distant from the windows of the offices of government.

It is looks like a tragic comedy, but it is serious disconnection between the busy agenda of the politicians and the cry of the people who don’t have life options. 8 Recommendations 05/02/2015 06:34:04 PM

MY COMMENT: This story says that “six Baltimore police officers were be charged… in the death of Freddie Gray”, but it does not enough information to know all that happened before he died.

With these “pictures”, the Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby will not calm the protesters. 1 Recommendation 05/01/2015 11:54:37 AM

MY COMMENT: You are talking about Vietnam’s war…, but your subject is longer: “The real lesson is that bad things happen when the U.S. loses or walks away from a war”.

The second point of your subject “… when the U.S. walks away from a war” is the case of Iraq, something different from Vietnam, but with very negative consequences.

When we walk away from a war, we can plan our actions before we leave the battlefield. This didn’t happen in Iraq, and now we see the consequences. 3 Recommendations 05/01/2015 01:44:00 AM

MY COMMENT: The news says that Vermont Senator. Bernie Sanders will run for the Democratic presidential nomination challenging Hillary Clinton.

In a democracy, it is important to hear everybody. The diversity of opinions gives us a wide spectrum of political tones. This does not imply that we will applaud everybody.

MY COMMENT: @Wayne Mayo
The reverend Al Sharpton likes to stay in the noise of the protests. He runs from a riot to another, and he does not help to put calm…

Al Sharpton has not the capacity to put order among the people around him. His interventions are disastrous. 3 Recommendations 04/30/2015 02:19:33 AM

MY COMMENT ANSWERING TO ANOTHER MEMBER OF THE JOURNAL COMMUNITY:

Today, the racial violence is worse than 8 or 10 years ago. 4 Recommendations 04/30/2015 02:26:59 AM

MY COMMENT: After the terrible earthquake that shook Nepal, the claims of some groups against the authorities will complicate more the effort to the recovery of the country.

When we live dramatic moments with very serious problems, always some people like to create more problems. 1 Recommendation   04/29/2015 02:41:05 PM

MY COMMENT: Ferguson, New York… and now Baltimore are giving a very bad picture of our domestic problems. Across the world, the international media is showing each riot with a big smile in the face of the journalists: “Oh! This is the America!”

We are returning to decades ago when the Afro-Americans did not have access to the top positions of the institutions of the government.

It is time that authorities and police reconsider the incidents with minorities and the motivations of the riots:

First: Everybody – white, black, Latino, Asian… – deserve a fair treatment of the police forces.

Second: The authorities have to take a firm attitude against agitators and criminals who want to make their business destroying cities and creating problems to the civil population. 2 Recommendations 04/29/2015 01:26:35 PM

MY COMMENT: The last economic graphics show that since 2010, the economy of the United States grows a little and after that, it goes down.

In this way, it is not possible to enter in a period of a strong and continuous growth. 1 Recommendation 04/29/2015 12:34:51 PM

MY COMMENT: We are living a serious crisis of the religious principles of the society, in part due to the changes that technology has generated in the life of the people.

In addition, during the last decades, a lot of religious leaders did not answer crucial questions of the believers in the right way.

However, I don’t believe the future of religion is bleak. I prefer to say that the future of religion will be different that we know today. 1 Recommendation 04/28/2015 03:35:28 PM

MY COMMENT: Like the news says, the members of the U.S Supreme Court appear divided about the gay marriage.

The gay marriage is a social issue. Never the changes about social issues are fast and immediate. The activists have to way… 1 Recommendation 04/28/2015 03:18:29 PM

MY COMMENT: It is sad for Nepal and the world that after the earthquake now History is only rubble, but it is terrible more painful that the toll of corpses continue growing.

(Some sources talks about 7000 dead people…) 2 Recommendations 04/28/2015 02:16:55 PM

MY COMMENT: According to the news, the White House is dealing a new trade deal with the Asian countries and a lot of Democrats are against it.

In this case, President Obama has to go ahead without the support of his normal political partners. He is not familiar with this kind of situation. 2 Recommendations 04/27/2015 03:18:32 PM

MY COMMENT: The news says that the South Korean Prime Minister steps down after a short time in charge of the government due to corruption problems.

In other countries, presidents and prime ministers are accused of bribery or other crimes, but they remain in power.

Today, across the world, the political apparatus is not a chorus of angels. We are living in times where the corruption is in the top! 04/27/2015 03:05:26 PM

MY COMMENT: The defense of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is trying to put the weight of responsibility of the bombing attack in his dead brother because he is not more in this world.

This is not justice because Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was also directly involved in the Boston Marathon bombing. He has to be punished for his responsibility in the killing. 04/27/2015 02:51:32 PM
