As the WSJ's editorial says the Euro's disciplined countries like Germany, Netherlands and the Northern European countries were very soft with the other countries with economic and fiscal laggards politics. In the current moment, this attitude could have a high price.
From the other side, the new "borders" in between countries can reinforce the nationalist movements that are against the bloc and pushes the collapse of the European Central Bank. Meanwhile, Italy and Spain are entering in a very dramatic social and economic moment.
Next events will show to the world if the European Union will survive or not this pandemic.
