WORLDRETHINK: Twitter tour on March 18, 2020 - What is the current mood in your workplace?

#WR: Somebody asked: What is the mood in your workplace due to COVID-19? 1st: fear to receive the “virus” as a gift. 2nd: fear to lose the job. 3rd: fear to survive the #sickness with a foot in the grave and the other in the jungle's beasts that will come. #COVID19 #work #layoffs

#WR; The mood in each workplace where decent persons work is very bad. This is more than a demoralizing thing. Nearly sure, we – the normal population – is paying the cost of a testing of the labs who generated a monster named COVID-19.

#WR: From @WSJ to reread: "Companies from restaurant operators to wedding caterers have started to let workers go as they ratchet down operations. Many firms have moved cautiously to date, furloughing employees and moving workers to part-time status." Will layoffs come? #COVID19

Today @WSJ posted a story titled: "Call It a Layoff, a Furlough or a Cut Shift: Americans are Losing Work" where their authors talk about the consequences of this pandemic

Nobody of the WSJ's blog writers (included me) said that they believe the current social chaos will end in two weeks. The majority of the members of the WSJ Community of bloggers thinks this pandemic will last months and maybe more than a year. By the way, two days ago, The Robert Koch Institute of Germany said the "crisis" will last two years.
