WORLDRETHINK: August 3, 2021 - China looks for a war with the West

#WR: New step of the China-US tech war. As @WSJ  explains in the story titled "Beijing Shuns Ericsson, Nokia as the West Curbs Huawei"  China Mobile, wireless carrier of the Chinese government, reduces its business with Ericsson. The Swedish maker is an important provider of China.

As we commented in a previous WORLDRETHINK, the tech war that started during the administration of Donald Trump continues now under Biden's White House.

The interesting point is that China includes in the war other western companies. Ericsson is not an American company. It is a Swedish maker and the most important provider of wireless equipment in the western world, followed by Nokia, which is Finnish.

Both - Ericsson and Nokia - are very important technology provider of China since long time ago,

The WSJ story has a common point with another story from Deutsche Welle where the writer explains that China is trying to cut links with western providers in a very evident way. Probably, Beijing is preparing for a military war with the United States and its partners.
