#WR: Is it right to punish those who do not have vaccine papers? The Editorial of @WSJ titled “Your Vaccine Papers, Please!” explains that the New York Mayor Bill de Blasio will request “that New Yorkers will soon need proof of vaccination to do everything from dining out to working out at a gym.” This attitude looks like an initiative of an authoritarian regime. What do you think?
According to the Wall Street Journal, Mr. de Blasio in a press conference said: "“It’s time for people to see vaccination as literally necessary to living a good and full and healthy life,”
WSJ also explains that "roughly 55% of the city’s residents are fully vaccinated, ranging from 46% in the Bronx to 67% for Manhattan."
The initiative has pros and cons. Americans are not familiar with rules and laws forcing them to do what they don't feel to do. This looks like a Covid's dictatorship.
