RETHINKING - September 8, 2021 - Can we trust in Mr. Haqqani?

Since 2020, when the United States sat down with the Taliban in Qatar, we are living a series of events that show that the United States is losing its compass.

Please, reread the start of the @WSJ Editorial column titled "Our Friends the Haqqanis"

Here the text: "The Biden Administration and other democracies have been beseeching the triumphant Taliban not to behave like they did when they last ran Afghanistan before 9/11 and harbored al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden. On Tuesday the Taliban gave their first response, naming a new government that includes Sirajuddin Haqqani as interior minister. // This is, literally, putting a jihadist terrorist in charge of internal security. Mr. Haqqani is on the FBI’s most wanted list, and the U.S. is offering up to $10 million for information leading to his arrest."

How is it possible that President Trump and President Biden didn't rethink their actions before talking with the terrorists who were co-responsible for the attack of September 11, 2001?

Who can trust in a bad man like Sirajuddin Haqqani?

My personal opinion is that massacres' criminals will never become angels.
