After weeks of speculations, the Taliban named the new government that will rule Afghanistan.
The Wall Street Journal says "Four days before the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks that prompted the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan, the Taliban declared the restoration of their Islamic Emirate and named a new government, excluding other political forces and giving control of internal security to a U.S.-designated terrorist."
According to WSJ, Sirajuddin Haqqani, will be the minister of interior in charge of the police and the security of the state. Mr. Haqqani is known for Washington as a "global terrorist" with close links with al Qaeda.
The key question is: What we can expect from a terrorist government?
