#WR: When COVID-19 hits people, unethical businessmen offer health supplies they don’t have.
According to @WSJ, a lot of companies are offering stuff that never was produced with the intention to make businesses due the necessity of the people who suffers the sickness. Again, we see that always when the tragedy hits our society, there are businessmen without ethical principles who try to earn money thanks the suffering of others.
@WSJ wrote that more than 1,000 companies responded to FEMA’s call to provide needed #supplies to fight the #pandemic, but only 3 had what the agency could actually buy. #FEMA #COVID19
In this COVID-19 crisis, FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) is in charge to buy medical supplies to fight against the coronavirus pandemic across the United States. Despite its expertise buying stuff for national and regional disasters like hurricanes, tornadoes and wildfires, in this opportunity it has a lot of problems to buy the supplies needed for hospitals and medical institutions.
