Some days ago, the WSJ columnist Peggy Noonan posted an opinion column titled “The Endless Loop of Covid-19”.
Ms. Noonan started her column with the following statement: “The current moment is much like 20 months ago. It is no governmental triumph that this is so. “
The title of the column and its first paragraph inspired me for a very special rethinking.
This was that I wrote in the blog comment sector of WSJ related to the Noonan column:
Peggy, you say: "The current moment is much like 20 months ago. " From my view, a lot of people want to continue like 20 months ago. Covid-19 is a good business for some sectors of society and the power.’
Ten readers of the WSJ Online approved my opinion with “like”.
I have the feeling that behind this endless journey through the lugubrious tunnel named Covid, there are strong and powerful interests to maintain the panic in the population with new “versions” of virus because this is the way to bend the human beings who want to return to a normal life.
