WORLDRETHINK: Twitter tour on July 17, 2021 - Not only Miami, but Germans also have their own drama

#WR: Germans also have their dramatic moments. According to @WSJ, nearly 160 people died due to the worst flooding in decades after a torrential rainfall in the west of the country. The overflowing rivers cross old cities with a lot of population and probably bad infrastructure.

Now that across South Florida everybody who lives in an old condo has fear for the possible bad and old infrastructure of the building, we see that in other advanced countries of the world like Germany there are a lot of dead and missing people due to the floods that heavy rainfalls produced.

About the German flooding, the Wall Street Journal wrote: "German authorities used helicopters and drones to locate survivors who fled to roofs and high ground when their homes were engulfed by flash floods that turned streets into rivers, swept away cars and crushed houses. "

"As waters subsided, more dead bodies were recovered from flooded houses or from under the rubble of buildings crushed by the torrent, meaning that the final death toll is likely to be greater, several German officials said."

Across the world, a lot of dramas and tragedies pass due to the authorities and inhabitants don't updating buildings and cities infrastructures to avoid tragedies for the corrosion of the concrete or the bad maintenance of water drains on the streets.
