#WR: NATO measures distances with its enemies. When we read the stories of @WSJ we realize that Biden meeting with the NATO members have two goals: retaking the position of top leader of the group and measuring distances with old enemies (Russia) and new enemies (China...) #NATOSummit
It is interesting to observe the 360 degrees change of White House under the Biden Administration.
Former President Trump said that NATO was not the organization that can help America to articulate defense alliances of the western world.
Now, President Biden is trying to recover the "lead seat" of this group to have partners to defend America and the western world from the worst enemies in the current times.
The problem is that countries like Germany after the snubs of Trump to Merkel signed the last agreements from the Russian gas and oil, and Macron, like Merkel, opened business doors for Chinese technology companies.
