#WR: Apple knocks EU bureaucrats who punish American companies with high taxes. @WSJ that “Apple won a major battle with the European Union when the bloc’s second-highest court sided with the tech giant saying it didn’t owe billions to Ireland in unpaid tax”. #EUCommission #Apple
#WR: About Apple-EU, @WSJ also said: "The overturning of the Apple decision comes at a sensitive time in the battle over how much tax big tech companies should pay—and where they should pay it. European countries and the U.S. are at an impasse in international talks on the topic."
The victory of Apple could force EU bureaucrats to review the appetite of big taxes against the American tech giants. Alphabet, Google's parent company and Amazon are fighting similar battles with the EU Commission.
