BLOG COMMENTS - New History Chapter

Dear Friends:

On January 20, the Inauguration Day, Donald Trump assumed the presidency of the United States, starting a new chapter of our History.

In that moment, the Obama’s cycle of eight years ended with a dose of uncertainty and big changes in Washington.

During the last few days, a lot of readers of Wall Street Journal posted comments and diverse observations related to the change of government. And Twitter is full of good and bad opinions about the new government.

Important: Some of the next WSJ comments were rewritten according to the summary of news.

The decisions of McCain and Graham pushed Marco Rubio to follow the same "path".

Now Rex Tillerson is very close to be the new U.S. Secretary of State, key position in the presidential cabinet.

Posted In Obama Did Not Save the Economy (By Holman W. Jenkins, Jr.)
You say that Obama didn't save the economy. I say that Obama did not save the country. This is worse.

Former President Obama lost his 8 years of government promoting great ideals of freedom and pushing fake economic formulas without to have clue how to build a modern and strong country of the free world.

Obama presidency was a fantasy, a fairy tale with catastrophic results.

Today, January 22, Obama is past. He is part of a chapter of History titled: "Frustrated America".

Today more than never before, you buy "peace" through the strength (politic, economic, military strength). The formula is right.

Taiwan is model of the fight against the Asian Dragon with pragmatism. We have to applaud them.

We don't have to be more the "tail" of the Big Asian Dragon. Today we are acting as an "economic" colony of the Chinese.

We - the Americans - have to be independent from China in a real and pragmatic way.

Aleppo always will remember the Obama wrongs movements during the Syrian civil war.

The sad fact is that Obama - Nobel Peace Prize - didn't fight with all his energy for the peace of a country that suffered one of the worst wars of his presidency period.

The 30,000 names of suspected "ghost soldiers" of Afghanistan that the U.S. Military wants to clean is similar to the lists of "ghost officials" of government offices in a lot of parts of world.

This is a very common practice in corrupt countries.

It looks like the "pardon" to Bradley Manning will be the last “sin” of Barack Obama as president.

Obama was very benevolent with him or her. Bradley Manning (Chesea Manning) was retreated America and after that changed his sex to be “Miss Chelsea”, a "trick" to look for compassion.
