WORLDRETHINK: Twitter tour on Monday, March 5, 2018

  1. WR Brief Analysis: The Oscars awards were a mix of political, sexual & art expressions. Remarkable, the best foreign film: “A Fantastic Woman” (Chile), a story of the first openly transgender performer. After "Daniela Vega", will Hollywood continue distinguishing men from women?
  2. WR Brief Opinion: In an interesting story about the Qualcomm’s future, WSJ explains how “Paul Jacobs, executive chairman of Qualcomm Inc., is trying to fend off a bid from Broadcom.” From my perspective, this is a fair fight to keep the American innovation in the right hands.
  3. WR Brief Observation: The Italians elections ended without a clear winner. The results reflect that Italy is a political fractured country where the consensus is near impossible. Question: Can somebody rule in a constructive way this kind of society?
