RETHINKING: New Earhquake in the Political Arena

Dear Friends:

During the last two weeks. Republicans and Democrats celebrated their national conventions where Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were nominated as the presidential candidates of both parties.

It was at the Democratic National Convention, when Khizr Khan, the father of Capt. Humayun Khan, pointed against Mr. Trump, when a new earthquake started in the political arena.

We will not discuss here the message of Khizr Khan and the events related to the death of his son.

Personally, we didn’t like that the Democrats used the scene of the convention, to make public the painful situation of the Khan family. However, those were the facts. 

In that moment, the best answer had been silence. But Donald Trump answered in a way that was not appropriate to the circumstances.

We don’t know, what will happen from now. The reality is that a lot of Republicans are trying to put distance from Donald Trump. If this situation continues, the November election will be a disaster for the GOP.

And this is something that Hillary Clinton doesn’t deserve, because she is not the perfect candidate for the White House.
