Probably, you are right, However, I think that from long time the Chinese are spying our territory, also using the "university Chinese students" that come to the American universities across all the country.

President Biden was rethinking his previous wrong decision, and now he is trying to act in a better way.

Interesting question!

This is a poem, but the Chinese balloons are not a poem.

No strange object has to fly American territory. One after another, the military has to shoot down them.

While the current administration maintains opened the southern border of the country without stop the crowds' illegal immigrants and doesn't protect our territory from a Chinese spy balloon, we cannot talk of effective successes of the

Till now, we don't know all the truth about this balloon and probably we will never know. The key issue is showing the vulnerability of the American territory in front of a possible Chinese aggression.

I am sure that Chinese don't have interest to make a tour of the Yellowstone by balloon.

Always there are companies from third countries that provide critical supplies to the enemy. This is not new..

You are completely right. This is not a royalty. "Everyone is equal under the law."

Till now, we don't know the effect of the Facebook's decision in the long time....

Michelle Obama was only a First Lady. She doesn't have a political career.

Now, it is not easy to find political figures in the West like the men that rebuilt the world after WWII.

I did not refer to Mr. Trump in this opportunity, I said that "Great figures of the politics are submerged in the swamp".

For Poland, to support Ukraine means to prepare its own defense from the common enemy. If Russia is successful in Ukraine, it will try to provoke Warsaw,

Germany doesn't want to enter in a direct confrontation with Mr. Putin.

It is interesting to know about domestic samples of the Chinese projects.

In all his wars, President Putin targets civilian infrastructures. This is nothing new.

George Santos fits in a "prototype" that has more samples across the government institutions.

Microsoft is cutting 10,000, Google is cutting 12,000. Who will be the next?

A rebel who wants to destroy the British Monarchy.

For my point of view, the illegal immigrants have to be deported. No more amnesty.

Ukraine is not part of the American territory. And till now, the Ukraine's war is very costly for the United States. Meanwhile, the results of the effort are uncertain.

But the reality is that Kamala Harris doesn't care about this mess.

I believe the antimissile weapons are the first urgency.

I agree with your observation. This girl has not experience about the real world. The best is that she returns to her country instead of generating protests in Germany.

The racism will never end. because it is a business for the minority classes.

Regardless of fighting against poverty and hunger, we have to strengthen the defense sector of our country in a serious way.

Regardless of the extradition treaty between the United States and Brazil, in this case, the U.S. government has to try to stay outside the side of Brazilian domestic issues.

We cannot like Lula, but we must respect a democracy system.

Till now, we don't know the total price of the Kevin McCarthy's victory.

RETHINKING - FEBRUARY 7, 2023 - CONTRADICTORY PRESIDENTIAL SPEECH

On the evening of Tuesday, February 7, President Biden delivered his 2023’s State of the Union speech in the Congress.

After that, The Wall Street Journal published an opinion column of the Editorial Board titled “The State of the Union Contradiction”.

The column starts with the following question: “If Biden is such a success, why aren’t Americans pleased?”

Through the column, WSJ observes a series of contradictions between the President’s speech and the facts of the current administration.

Myself, I posted the following comment in the blog section of WSJ Online version of the Editorial Board’s column:

“The defense of the country has to be a priority in the agenda of the President. While the current administration opens the southern border of the country to the invasion of crowds' illegal immigrants and doesn't protect our territory from a Chinese spy balloon, we cannot talk of effective successes of the President as the Commander in Chief.”

My blog comment received the approval of other members of the WSJ Members Community.

RETHINKING - FEBRUARY 5, 2023 - WHAT IS TRUE ABOUT THE BALLOON'S NEWS?

During the last few days, the news from the United States and also from other western countries were focused on the Spy Balloon that flew across American territory.

On Sunday morning, Deutsche Welle from Germany dedicated a lot of space in its international section to talk about the Chinese balloon that had the audacity trespassing the frontier for the U.S.

DW said “The US has shot down a Chinese balloon that had been floating over the mainland for days.”

In the Wall Street Journal, like is normal in this kind of circumstance, the Editorial Board posted an opinion column titled “China Floats a Trial Balloon Over Montana.”

And next, the WSJ wrote “Somehow a weather balloon ended up near U.S. missile bases.”

Myself, I posted in the blog section of the WSJ Online the following comment:

“China is testing the reactions of the U.S. in different ways: political, military, defense....”

Other members of the WSJ Community applauded my comment.

But till now, we – the Americans – don’t know all the truth about this Chinese Balloon and why the US military didn’t shoot down exactly when it was trespassing our frontiers.(for fears about any China reaction? or for what?)
