Today The Wall Street Journal published a very interesting story about possible solutions to the current energy crisis.
The story was titled "Western Countries Breathe New Life Into Old Nuclear Plants"
His author - Matthew Dalton- started the story with this statement "Governments seek to stop reactors from shutting down and to restart idled ones in move to bolster energy supplies and meet climate targets"
And after that he posted a comment from REUTERS about the Germans: "Germany is considering postponing the closing of the Isar nuclear power plant in Essenbach due to a possible energy shortage this winter. "
My opinion posted in the WSJ Blog Section of the story: “In times of crisis, governments have to be pragmatic. The reopening of nuclear plants is better than depending on the gas of your enemy.”
A group of other members of the WSJ Community agree with me.
